Vegging out in front of the TV is temporarily relaxing but actually prevents us from doing things that are more meaningful. For example, speaking to friends and family or maybe getting some rest. It is easy to get addicted to 'whatever is on' and end up more tired and more stressed because jobs 'pile up' while we 'veg out'.
Mindless TV uses up energy and clutters our minds with things we should have (celebrity, latest gadgets). Join me in taking a break and connecting to the real world instead of plugging in!
